Duncan Blythe is a member of the NLP group at Zalando research, where he is using multimodal deep learning applied to images and text. In the past he has worked on a variety of applications of machine learning, including neuro-imaging, sports science, causal-analysis and genetics. He has also worked on algorithmic and theoretical questions such as estimators for long-range dependence, source separation and the interplay between statistical physics and time-frequency analysis.
Current research interests:
NLP, recurrent neural networks
